Find the right type of soil, if necessary apply fertilizer and cultivate it, then plant the right kinds of seeds, in the right place, water them, take care of the land in which they are planted and over time, you will reap a harvest.

Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV) says: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

So too our hearts, make it by faith the right place for these principles of the Spirit, nurture them, and then let them grow into a beautiful testimony of the love of God.
